Ian MacDonald

Ian MacDonald, or “Moose” as he’s known in some circles, was born in eastern Canada in 1988. He’s a graduate of animation, and after having previously worked a brief stint on the My Little Pony television series, now uses his knowledge acquired through that medium to apply to concept design, painting and art direction for licensed products at Sideshow. When not drawing undead creatures or super heroes, Ian spends his time nerding out to video games, movies, and explaining to people in depth why he doesn't like cheese.

  With Sideshow Art Prints, Ian has produced a significant number of fantasy art prints for the official Critical Role collection as well as officially licensed BTS art prints, Marvel artwork, and more. He has also created Star Wars™ wall art and had some of his official DC Comics variant covers transformed into DC art prints for fans to enjoy in multiple presentations. From giclée prints to luxury quality HD Aluminum and canvas formats, Ian's work fits in every collection, paired with Sideshow statues and figures or displayed on its own.
